Hi guys,

I am a WiFi user but recently internet has been slow and I decided to switch to Ethernet but somehow Ethernet is not giving my internet access. There is light on the modem that shows that the port is working. (I just changed the ethernet port from Apple Store because it was faulty)

Now, when I plugged in my Ethernet cable, it's not giving me internet access with and without wifi.

Help please. :Grimmace:

Thanks

I would take it on back to the Apple store and have them check it out. Hooking up to ethernet is usually very easy. No adjustments or security access is required. Unless there's a problem with your ISP it sounds like your ethernet port may still not be working correctly. If you have a spare CAT-5 cable, swap it out and see if the same thing occurs. (Just to make sure your cable is OK.)

Regards.
