No seriously, I want to back up the files stored on my TC

I see lots of threads started on this, but no one has actually answered.

I use my 1 TB TC to store files. I want to automatically back those files up. I have 2 separate disks attached directly to the TC via USB. Surely there must be a way to set something up that will copy the files on the TC to one of the other disks. I'm not talking about the backup that Time Machine does. I'm talking about files stored directly on the TC disk.

There is a button in the airport utility under disks that says back up files. I personally have never gotten this to work but if it works for you I'd like to know. I tried backing up to an attached USB hard drive with no luck.
