Transfering software from desktop to ibook

Hi i have had a desktop Mac for years and have just bought a second hand ibook and want to transfer my programs ( photoshop, flash, director etc) from my desktop to my ibook but i do not have the orginal disks anymore. Does anyone know if this can be done and how? Thanks

Are you then going to no longer use the desktop?

Why don't you have the discs? I don't get that. It's important to keep track of them!

I was at uni when i got my mac nearly ten years ago and alot of the programs were giving to me by tutors as i was on a graphics course and needed them also due to moving so much the others have been lost.

I was at uni when i got my mac nearly ten years ago and alot of the programs were giving to me by tutors as i was on a graphics course and needed them also due to moving so much the others have been lost.

It's kind of tough to reinstall programs when you lose the disks. Since software (especially Adobe programs) can be VERY expensive. Keeping the install disks safe & secure (as well as not lost)...is very important.

You could try looking for the older versions of the programs (install disks) you had/have on e-Bay...otherwise you may be out of luck!:(
