Migration Assistant can't find TM drive

I just installed SL on my Mini's internal drive. When I tried to restore from my external TM drive, the drive did not show up in the list of available drives. I rebooted and confirmed that the TM drive was mounted. I then opened Migration Assistant, but the drive was still not in the list of drives. (All other mounted drives were there.) Any suggestions?
