Safari 5 'search bar'

did anybody successfully remove the 'search bar' in Safari 5 ? i had it in 4 since i use Glims (i just type 'go searchterm" and it'll start Google, and have other ones for other sites like Wikipedia, Google Images, Cdnow, etc...)

*deleted* info... not being able to customize toolbar and on top of that extensions stopped working. i reversed what i did and be hoping for a method to make this work with Safari 5.
