Sometimes, when I play tracks on my iPod, I want to eliminate the gap between songs. This is possible when burning a cd from iTunes. Is it possible when listening to tracks on the iPod?

For me this is important when listening to songs that, when performed, jam into each other (especially important listening to the Grateful Dead)...

Thanks.

Unfortunately, there really isn't a simple solution neither for the iPod nor iTunes for gapless playback. :(

I read from a reliable source that to get gapless playback on an iPod it would need a much faster processor which would make the battery last a lot less and also make it cost a fair bit more, thats the same reason why it can't crossfade.
