Hi Gang -- AVI + MOV files ??????

Im a Mac newbie ,but learning quickly

Ok , I have a big long question ,,

I have a Blog ,, www.johnpiercy.ca and use the www.audioblog.com service
upload videos , audio

My camera Canon SD500 does AVI , and the AudioBlog service only allows AVI , uploads

But Im trying to learn IMovie ( I have Tiger Installed ) but I dont know how to convert back to AVI

Uploading the AVI , straight from the camera , works great

My question is that I want to edit these little AVI files , with IMovie ,
IMovie does create Titles, transitions , etc

But then I want too upload this to AudioBlog , in AVI format


Ive bought a few ILIFE manuals , but it doesnt describe how to convert the
.MOV files

Anyone ,, have any thoughts

im not sure that you can....

I don't think you can with iMovie you need a third party app, check versiontracker

www.versiontracker.com

quicktime 7 (the full purchased version (which is cheap)) should be able to save your .mov file as a .avi one...

(i am testing this right now, will get back in a few moments)

edit: for some reason its not exporting sound with it...maybe im making a mistake, or maybe i dont know what im talking about
