I wanna upgrade firmware on my iPod Video 30gb

Hey guys, I currently have an old 30gb iPod video black, running old 1.3 software, I wanna upgrade it to the latest posible software. Reason? looks better, has the capability of running more games and such.

Read about iPodWizard, and watched a video on youtube of a guy that perfoms it, but on windows, I do have a MBP 13", wanna do the upgrade on OSX.

So, u know any apps that are capable of doing this task? Thanks in advance!

You can go with "Podzilla" which is Linux for the iPod. Do a Google search on Podzilla and you'll garner up all sorts of hits and suggestions about updating the firmware and even installing new (Linux) firmware on your iPod.

I wouldn't try it with an iPod under warranty because it will definitely void your warranty, but if you have an older iPod like yours, it can be fun to run Linux on it.
