i have a dual 2.5ghz G5 i bought in 2004.

this particular model came with a liquid cooling system and used a coolant (i believe) is similar to antifreeze.

lately it has been running pretty hot, spinning the fans at high speed for doing just simple tasks.

i assume its possible for the liquid to evaporate after a while. does apple have any system in place for changing or adding to the fluid?

as expected.. customer service didnt know what was going on..

thanks.

It is a sealed system unless you have sprung a leak which will kill the motherboard. Maybe the fans need re-calibrating?
