Target Disk Mode install question

I'm about to attempt Target Disk Mode to re-install Tiger on my MacBook, but before I embark on it, a couple of brief questions:

- Will this work if the computer I'm installing Tiger from is PowerPC enabled (PowerMac G4) even though mine is Intel-powered?

- Is there any risk of wiping out the HD on the PowerMac?

TDM will work provided both machines have firewire ports. As far as doing any damage to the internal hard drive of the Powermac, you can't because the PM hard drive will be mounted and will not allow you to accidentally erase or format it.

But be careful all the same. Remember Murphy's Law!
