Will developers be able to incorporate the front facing camera into their apps or is it restricted to only apples face time

I was sort of wondering the same thing. It would be nice for say Yahoo chat and AIM if one could use the camera from time to time.

I don't see why developers wouldn't have access to it, although they may be limited to wifi only, just as facetalk is (as far as streaming is concerned). I seem to remember a reporter at WWDC say something in passing about how anything that called the camera API automatically had the ability to flip from back to front camera.

It was announced that developers will have the opportunity to utilize the front facing camera. Skype has already said that they're going to work on updating their app.

It's a shame that FaceTime wont be available via 3G, that would have been pretty sweet
