I've got the Sony DCR-SR37 Handycam...

I have already done a few video's using this camera and iMovie (8.0.6 / latest version!), great no problem.

I have recently returned from a 3 day walking trip and have loads of footage to edit, but... for some strange reason... iphoto does not recognize the files and says 'this is not a movie file'.... AARGGHHH!!! Why does it say this now???

Help please, need to edit film before 8th July!

hmmm... just realized that the files that were impotred before are .mov files... and the current files are .mpg files...

..have I pressed the wrong button on the camera set up??? grrrr

sony sr 37 VS mac:)

hi there, today i connected my sony sr 37 to a mac book pro in a WHITE STORE. Mac recognise the cam but imovie do not open mpeg2 files? is it possible? how can i make? many thanks. (how did u canged the format on the cam?) have a nice day:)
