Hey guys,
I haven't been on here in a while since I'm now engaged and such.
Anyways I have an Aluminum PowerBook G4 1.5GHz 15" that I picked up for a good price on eBay. However it has an interesting power charging issue.
It came without a battery and I purchased a new battery. Much to my dismay, the meter says "Not Charging". I did the usual PMU reset, even replaced the PRAM battery, a few different chargers and tried 2 different new batteries. The last battery has been hit or miss with charging and sometimes it charges and sometimes it doesn't. Today my fiancee told me it was charging when it was placed on a few pillows on a 70some odd degree angle.
Do you guys think it needs a new DC-in board or do you guys think it's something internal?
