I was given a 5 yr old iBook G4 w/Leopard installed. My first Mac.

It runs quite well for its age, but I was wondering if I can set the resolution to higher than 1024 x 768, to 1280 x 1024?

Is there any internal setting other than what's in the system preference display settings?

Nope. If 1024 x 768 is the highest resolution setting...than that's as high as it will go.

Thanks for the info. Even though its 5 yrs old, this iBook G4 (1.42 ghz cpu and 1.5 gb RAM) runs quite well. I'm enjoying learning the Mac OS :)
