Help fixing "No bootable device -- instert boot disk and press any key"

when i turn on my macbook i get this message "No bootable device -- instert boot disk and press any key" and i cant do anything at the screen can someone help me on what to do please.

what it looks like is that you ran bootcamp and tried to start to windows that isn't installed. to get back to mac this is what you do.
turn the computer off.
start the computer and hold the option key.
hold the option key until you get to a screen with the macintosh HD and Windows.
when you see that you can let go of the option key and select the mac HD and hit return. that will start you back into mac.

what i would do is go back into bootcamp and restore the drive back to a single partition if you don't want to install windows on your computer.
