Hey forum!
So I've been searching and can't find any answer to this anywhere. I am using my newish late 2009 15" Macbook Pro. I am trying to connect a brand new 22" LG W40 Series external monitor via VGA to Mini-DVI cable. My MBP is detecting the screen, and it let's me set it to mirror etc, however no images are showing up on the external monitor; it just sits there with a black blank screen. I have tried unplugging and replugging it back in, closing the lid then plugging it in and re-opening the lid, plugging it in then closing the lid etc.
As I said my MBP detects the monitor, and my VGA to Mini-DVI cable is brand new as well, so I doubt it's either the monitor or the cable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance,
Chaz
EDIT:
Fixed. VGA Cable was bad in box, replaced with another new VGA cable. Will contact manufacturer!
