iPhone help

My iPhone stays blank it doesnt start up nothing. I am able to restore it but when it finishes the restore it shuts off and doesnt boot up. I updated to 3.1.3 and it worked perfectly than used redsn0w to jailbreak it and it worked until i installed Winterboard and it shut off. I tried restoring it and i keep getting error 6 does anyone know what the issue is and how to fix it. Please need help! thanks!
