iPhoto update issue

Early 2015 rMBP
Everytime I open iPhoto it tells me there is an update, so I click "update" and the Mac does it thing where it looks for the update and when finished it always says "everything is up to date"...does anyone else have this issue. I checked and iPhoto does NOT have the most update installed already

So you are saying you do not have version 8.1.2.

What shows up if u select `Software Update' from Apple menu - if something shows up click on `Show Details'.

it won't let me click on show details because when the update software finishes it says everything is UTD so when I click OK it closes.

It could be basically an information update telling you or should I say persuading you to buy the newest ilife/ iphoto ;P
