just to help others
problems with photo booth../there is not camera connected

try this
#1 restar your computer
#2 connect a wired mouse (apple mouse)
#3 try to open the application
mouse very important to open this (wired mouse)

Odd...

So connecting a wired apple mouse, corrected your "there is not a camera connected" problem.

What kind of machine is this one?
What version of OS X?

Welcome to the Forum. With my wireless mouse and keyboard there are no issues with Photobooth at all. How do u know that you do not have a hardware/software issue/conflict?
