Hi there,

I am using my MBP for an exhibition connected to an external screen.

However, I would like a way to disable sleep mode so that the screen didn't go blank if no-one touches the piece for an hour or so.

I heard about InsomniaX but wasn't sure if this was my best option.

Thanks for any help

MBP i7, Mac Mini & iPhone 3G.
This is fairly easy fix. just change the energy settings in the system preferences. Non of my machines sleep unless they are told to. Just make sure you set both the sleep and display off to never.

Or download and install Caffeine. It gives you an icon on the status bar that you can click to disable the screen dimming. Click again and it's back to normal. You can even choose how long it stays active for. Not a lot more to it than that :)
