Which iMac is it and what RAM did you install? That is a Kernel Panic and looks like issues with the new RAM.

iMac 20' early 2008 version

I installed new Kingston 2gb memory module (kta-mb800/2g).

I booted successfully yesterday but today won't start up...

Is the New RAM seated all the way in the sockets?

What happens if you take out the old 1GB stick and just boot with the new 2GB stick you purchased?

Just a note, I have had much better luck with Matched Pairs of RAM in the new systems like your iMac. Like 2 of the 2GB sticks you purchased.

the issue could be that the memory that you inserted in the slots may be bad

memory/ram or isn't for that perticular motherboard or imac i should say. So try

looking memory for the same memory that was on your computer before you

purchased the new ram/memory

instead of diffrent kinds of ram, and that should work ......
