I just got an ipod touch a couple days ago, and for some reason my dad set the parental controls so that the ipod wouldn't play music that was categorized as "explicit." I don't have too much music that is explicit, but I asked him to change the settings to allow the songs that are, so he switched the settings back to allow the explicit songs. The problem is, the ipod still won't play them. They simply don't show up with the rest of my music. I tried re-starting the ipod, taking the songs off and then putting them back on, resetting all the settings on the ipod and then re-starting it again, and it still won't play them. Has anybody else had this problem, and if so, is there a way to fix it?

Are you sure your Dad removed the parental control for "explicit"? Perhaps you need to consult with him again.

Regards.

OK. Trusting what you said here..... O:)

Hook the iPod to your Mac. iTunes should open. Select "restore".

Use caution though - the restore function will wipe all your music, videos, and other data from the iPod while it restores it back to factory default. So be sure to backup everything first.

Regards.
