powerbook wireless range fix?

i have heard that powerbooks wireless range is smaller than the ibooks due to the aluminum casing.... is there any way to counteract this...

I know that the range on the Al powerbook is better than the Ti powerbook. I have a Ti powerbook, and I use a wireless pci card. I get better range because the antenna is outside of the powerbook.

I don't know if there is a fix.

Mac Pro 8x3.0ghz 12gb ram 8800GT , MBP 2.16 2GB Ram 17 inch.
I guess if you were really smart, and dedicated, you could try to take the back casing of the screen off and replace it maybe with a cool looking clear blue case with a apple logo on it, or just any color you choose to make.... not that thats a good idea, but probably possible if you get everything right, would try on an older powebook that you don't use any more to practice on.

Or you can go search the web (google it) for an antenna. there are some nice one for PB
