Hi!

I am currently teaching English in South Korea. For one of my advanced adult classes I want to take excerpts from some podcasts and mp3's of a talk radio show, and burn them as individual tracks on a CD.

I tried using garageband to cut and paste the sections I wanted, but found the process tedious and difficult. I've given up on garageband for this function.

Can anyone offer a suggestion on what program I should use?

You can use Audacity for removing excerpts from audio recordings. It's open source and free for use.

Regards.
