icon stuck on task bar (I think that is what it is called)

I was doing some dragging of files and ended up with a couple on my taskbar (or whatever it is called).

See photo.

Please help. I want them to leave!:D

Try holding the command key down while you drag it off...

Yeah, that is called the Taskbar. Apparently that's a feature. You didn't end up with those files in your Taskbar. They were aliases. You can then single-click on it to open the file. The real file stays right where it was. In order to get the alias there, you have to hover for a bit. If you drag it up there and quickly let go, no alias will be created.
