I would love an app that allows you to create a custom dashboard for your mac.
Think of a news program on TV where they have a box with video, a banner reel at the bottom with news articles streaming across, maybe another box with financial data etc.
I would love to be able to either launch an app or hit a short cut and have EyeTV launch in the top right corner within a set area, have emails in a box, have my twitter feed run along the bottom and a browser open. I can use them all while they stay in their position.
With the 24inch-27inch Mac screens there is enough space.
I do this manually at the moment but would love to be able to set it up
I have seen software for creating advertising displays that do this but they are thousands of dollars so not for the consumer.
