No Apple Fax Modem?

We are very surprised that Apple has not (and may not) be releasing a new version of a fax modem and we're wondering what other people may be doing to fax electronically from a Mac.

So, are there any suggestions about a setup that might work so that we are able to send faxes from our iMac?

You should always tell us which iMac you have....Look for a Zoom USB 3095 modem or Hayes USB H08-15356.

Thank you. It's a 2.93 GHz, 4 GB iMac (Model # A1225). Is this the information I should provide?

My understanding is that the US Robotics works OK with the latest Mac machines. You can check their web site to get an idea of which ones are available.

As an alternative, you can use an on line Fax service of which there are many to choose from. Use Google to find one.
