Uninstall software update macbook osx?

idk if wrong area to post but i really need to know the answer to my question..
i installed an update for final cut pro and dont want it cause it makes it crash. how do i uninstall this update or redo it...
i have dmg of fcp 5.0.1 cause i love it but i accedental updated can i downgrade back to 5.0.1 from 5.0.4

You will need to re-install. There is no was to back out updates. What version of the OS are you running?
