On Windows, you can globally change the default sizes of fonts. Is there a way to do this on OSX? Also is there a way to change the size of keyboard shortcuts as well?

If you click on your HD icon on the desktop then go to view at the top. Got to "Show View Options" You can set the icon & text size. Make sure the button on the top you pick is the "All Windows"

It also allows you to line up the desktop shortcuts which is an issue that I had as I didn't like them unaligned.

BTW, bought a Dell 24 inch monitor for under $1,000. I haven't tried it on the Mac yet as I haven't brought it home but it is a really nice monitor.
