nVidia drivers

I've recently upgraded my mac pro to 10.6.3.

I also upgraded Maya to 2011.

It's way slow and apparently it's because of my nVidia graphics card. My imac runs maya 2011 fine with an ati card.

I'm wondering if there is any drivers that will help nVidia work better with Maya 2011?

I've never had to get a driver for a mac so I'm a bit lost.

The way to find out would be to go to the nVidia web site downloads section and look for updated OS X drivers for your card. However, I believe that any updates for the nVidia would probably come thru Apple and not direct from them.
