Well, here's the story...
So my Late 2001 iBook's Combo drive dies. And I plan to replace it, so I take the iBook apart, put in the new drive, and put it back together. Everything is fine so far... And long story short, I end up checking the 'System Profiler' to see if my install worked out...
What I saw next was a little weird... I notice that I now have a 2MB L2 Cache... I think I **** myself when I saw it. Well, to make sure I wasn't dreaming I ran CPU Director, and again... 2MB L2 Cache.
What I'm wondering is, did I 'break' my iBook, or what...do you guys know of any programs that would help me find out more about my CPU.
It's a G3 750ce? not fx, 600mHz/100mHz FSB and it should have a 256Kb L2...
A screenshot is attached; it's a pdf...
