changing the name of the username

How can I change the name of my username account on my MacBook? Here it appears as Raptole 1, but I want it to be just Raptole and that probably happened last week when I retrieved backed-up files and my old user name was Raptole also. But please tell me how can I fix that?

This may be a possibility but make sure you have a bootable back up in place before trying it.
