Um kind of need more info on the specs of your iMac. >_>" If it's any consolation it runs just fine on my MB. Stats under my username.

Works great for me. 2008 aluminum iMac, 4gb ram.
Startup time is insanely faster than cs4.

Works great on my Macbook Pro with 4GB of RAM and my 27" Imac i& with 8GB of RAM.
Only catch is it installs as 64-bit by default and if you have any previously purchased plugins etc... you will need to run CS5 in 32-bit in order for it to recognize them. Something to keep in mind.
