Need to pack a 17" LCD Studio Display for shipping, and having problems with the stand. From memory, which is getting awful frail, seem to remember there was a trick using jewellers screwdrivers to close the leg.

Any suggestions folks, or is removing the screws and the leg the only solution?

I couldn't find anything other than repairing the leg, hinge, or the complete removal of the stand. It looks like you're going to have to remove those screws and the leg harry unless someone has better luck than me finding instructions. Put the screws in a small plastic bag and tape it to the leg after you remove it. That way nothing will get lost in shipment.
