Magic Mouse not working well?

Also, as I BIG EYED spender, I got the Magic Mouse. I have it hooked up via Bluetooth and all is fine, but it does not seem to react well. The pad is much more sensitive. I read all the settings and set them to fast. I am using it on the arm of a leather chair...???

Try changing the batteries. The whole battery thing is the only reason I haven't yet switched to a wireless mouse, I hate how they tend to get "slow" or unresponsive with low battery charge.
