Hello every one. I just bought my first Mac. i7 mac pro 17inch. I am so unfamiliar with how everything works. I was transferring files and found that I filled up the 500gig hardrive (I got about 162 gigs of music). So I have a couple of questions.

1. How do you veiw how big a folder is?
2. Is there a way to view what is taking up hard drive space?
3. If I want to play video games, is boot camp better then Parrallel?

The computer is great, thin, quiet, light, brillant screen. I have an airport router that I take with me when I travel and they work perfectly together not to mention the iphone 3GS 32 rocks. To think that all of this started because I bought my sister an ipod. Thanks guys for any info.

Your Mac's Specs
2018 15" MBP, 2019 11" iPad Pro, iPhone 11 Pro
If you're going to be gaming, use Boot Camp.

Correct. This is because you will be utilizing ALL of your Mac's processor, RAM, etc.

FYI, there is a desktop computer called Mac Pro. The notebook you purchased is a MacBook Pro. It will help everyone know which machine you're referring to. ;D
