I'm having trouble connecting a mac G4 to my WEP wireless network. It is allowing me to try and connect but says that there is an error. the passcode works on all other computers and i'm wondering what is up with the G4. I was wondering if the driver could be out of date? thanks.

You really shouldn't be using WEP as it can be easily compromised. I understand that it might be all you can use with your G4, however.

Try this: When you put in your pass code to access the network, place a dollar sign $ in front of it. In other words, if your pass code is a 10 character hex code: 12345678AB you would type in $12345678AB

Let us know if that works.

Regards.
