Im running Mac OS X 10.0.3 on a Ibook Clamshell and the browswer that came with it is Internet Explorer 5.1. Now on my Ibook G4 I use Safari which has a built in pop up stopper, and I was wondering if there is a pop up blocking feature on Internet Explorer 5.1? Because if there is I cant find it.

Thanks

Just stick with Safari, why go elsewhere when what you're looking for is already there?

Safari doesnt come with this version of Mac OS X.

Im running 10.0.3, so its the first Mac OS X

What browswers would work on this version?

Why dont you try Firefox. It's much more stable than Explorer.

Download firefox --- its a GREAT browser --- once you've used it and hopefully agree -- go back and donate $5-10 to the open-code mozilla cause

On 10.0, even Firefox won't work.

10.0 was essentially a beta release...it was slow, and the interface hadn't been refined well. There was a free CD upgrade to 10.1 which you should probably try to acquire. If you're serious about using that iBook, find a copy of Jaguar or Panther; even 10.1 was a pretty painful OS.
