Hi,

I have just gotten my first macbook (early 2009 model 5,2), and was wondering if freeNX server can be installed on it for remote access. I know VNC is supported, but I would like the flexibility of NX access to the macbook via a WAN connection.

I am trying to figure out how to run macbook as headless unit so that I can vnc/freeNX to it using a much higher resolution than the native 13" screen will support

thanks

I've done some extensive Googling on the matter, and while a server for OS X is a requested feature and "approved" for development per Nomachine's site, there doesn't appear to be anything actually available for use now.

This is something of a long shot, but I'm wondering if perhaps you can find a way to make ScreenRecycler work to your advantage.
