I think my new macbook pro's light sensor is too sensitive.

Even though I work under light(not so bright), keyboard backlight turns on..

but monitor bright is working well though

How can I work it out??

Isn't there any software to control sensor???

Have you tried turning it off? I don't like the auto sensor for the screen and keyboard light so I just turn them off and adjust them manually myself. You can turn them off by going to your System Preferences.

My keyboard light tend to stay in the last setting coming out of sleep if it was on full adapter power. So if I have it plugged in and in low lighting condition. I then put it to sleep. If I then go on battery power out of sleep, instead of have it plugged in, the keyboard light stays on high setting as if it's still on full adapter power. I just have to remember to dial it down manually.
