Hello,
I'm a pretty veteran mac user, but I am having some trouble installing office 2008 for mac on a newer iMac (10.6.2).
I had a trial version on the computer, which has since expired. I thought I removed it via the uninstaller.
Nevertheless, when I go to install the perennial version, I enter the product key, and am told it is invalid. I'm 99.9% sure it is a valid product, as it was purchased from my university.
I'm going to assume there is a ghost of the trial on here that is complicating the issue. Nevertheless, the uninstaller killed itself, and is long gone. Suggestions?
thanks for your time,
Tim
