OK, maybe it's too late for me but i will let you know what i did wrong first.
Basically to free up space on the memory card in my video camera i plugged it into my mac and dragged them all onto my mac. Not realizing when i did this that imovie (as far as i can tell) only allows you to to import files directly from the camera.
My camera for whatever reason wont let me reverse the process of dragging them back to to it so that option is out the window too.
Anybody know any ways of being able to import .mpg files from the "movies" folder on my macbook into itunes to edit them together into a movie?
Or any other software that can do it? (preferably free since i have learned my lesson and it would only be needed once).
Thanks
