One of the quickest phone calls I've ever had.

I called my local Apple store asking if they had any iPads in stock. After saying "Apple Store," the fellow on the phone said "No iPads," and that was it. End of story. The beat goes on. ;D

It would seem yours was not the first call of the day

Yeah after 50 such calls, I think a quick "ipads sold out" would answer the question 90% of callers would have. And if you think Apple have not patented psionic/telepathy mind reading technology, you would be wrong.
