Are there printers that can run on OS 10.3?

I have 10.3.9. My Canon i320 just died. Do all printers require 10.4 or better now?

What I would do it visit the Manufactures web-sight for any printer you are interested in and dig for the specs and see if they mention what versions of OSX it will work on. I am sure you can find something that will work. If I run into anything that for sure says 10.3-10.6 support I will get back to you.

Also remember some after market drivers like GimpPrint might have a version that will work on 10.3 and the printer you purchase.

You might be hard-pressed to find one but as dtravis7 noted, some unofficial third party drivers might work. I would highly suggest that you do your research first before purchasing.

Canon printers work with 10.3 - been there, done that. I've had both an MP110 and an MP150 doing the job from my old G3 b/w and my G3 iMac. All you need are the correct drivers, available from Canon website.

Nice! I just checked the Canon website for my printer and it appears that they have printer and scanner drivers that support OS X from 10.2 on.

Lucked out and grabbed a Canon MP460 at a garage sale today; runs on 10.3. Now I'll see if it works.
