How do I unstick my iPod Touch Sleep/Power Button?

It started when I was in a parking lot and it fell out of my pocket. When I walked in the building and tried to use it, the button wouldn't turn it on. When I got home, I put it on a charger and it turned back on. After that, the button won't turn it off. I haven't jailbroken it, and I can tell it's not the software because the button is stiff when I try to press it. HELP!!! Also, it is a 3rd generation!

Sounds like you may have jammed the switch when you dropped it. Looks like a trip to your local Apple store for repair. Which by the way, you will have to pay for since accidental damage is not covered by Apple.
