Hi everybody!

Today when I was doing a sheet in Excel 2008 in my mac to control my personal wastes I had some problems on formatting a row as currency, for example when I typed $10,00 it shows $1.000,00... How can I fix it?

Tanks a lot!

Nice try with your English, but I'm sure you weren't trying to control your "personal wastes" with Excel. Whatever you were doing, the settings for number formatting can be found under the Format Menu. Choose Cells... and the Number tab.

I can't find how to switch the , and . in order to switch from the U.S. standard to replicate your entry. Sorry I can't give more specific direction.

 Sorry about that. I guess to control my budget is the correct word. Anyway I could fix the problem with your directions.

Tanks a lot
