What are the specs of your Mac and what version of Safari have you installed? Helps no end if you provide this information. Also are you using the Safari version that is available on your Snow Leopard disc? There is a difference between SL and Leopard versions.

Try the non-geek approach. Explain what you're doing when it crashes. All that techno mumble jumble only means something to a very small segment of humanity.

Agreed. That crash report is more cryptic than normal and it would be beneficial if we knew what you were doing so we can narrow it down. What site were you on? Were any plugins being used (Flash, Java, etc.)?

Sorry, I have a 2009 24" iMac - 2.66ghz core2duo, 4gb ram osx 10.5.8

When I start safari, the beach ball rotates on the screen and says Safari quit unexpectedly.

Any ideas?

God..I'm in that small minority that actually understood that crash..wow..:)

Would be curious to see if you do get multiple crashes with the same error report..this one specifically is saying that Safari was looking for something in an array (a bucket as an analogy) that contains nothing, and when OS X tried to tell Safari that the bucket was empty, Safari didn't handle that notification and OS X got it's own message and decided that it's safer to kill Safari than have it continue..

Regards

Well done on the error message and the explanation!

Have you tried reinstalling Safari? It may seem like a simple solution but it may help.

Just for kicks, try Safari after logging in under a different user account.
