So i recently sent off my iPod touch to apple for repair, as i kept having issues with the device randomly turning itself off (after just being charged) and sometimes the whole of the data on my iPod would be wiped.

I'm pretty sure its not down to the battery being over-used as i only charge as much as i need to and its only a couple of months old. Anyway, i sent it off and they sent it back to me a few days later saying that they could find nothing wrong with it.
I've only had it back for a day and already it is doing the same as before. I've had two iPod touches before this and this has never happened to them.

Should i send it back to apple saying that it isn't fixed or what?

Cheers guys.

Call them first and find out exactly what it is they did to check it out. Also, it would actually be better if you took it in on in to an Apple store if there is one nearby. Intermittent problems are sometimes hard to trouble shoot. I suspect what they did is turned it on for a bit and if the trouble didn't present itself right away they turned it off and sent it back.

Regards.

okay thanks very much, yeah i will take to a store and see what they can do.

The letter i got back with the iPod after repair said that all they did was just run a few checks and it all seemed normal so obviously this picked nothing up.
