ichat video conference, not enough bandwidth????

Buddy and I both picked up iSights since he goes to college in Denver and I go to Maryland. We got them vid conferencing fine when he was home on break. We tried it yesterday and it gives an error about not having enough bandwidth. Would it give this error if it was a firewall config error or is it actually needing more bandwidth than is available?
