I have thousands of pix from different cameras. When I brought them all into iphoto the large majority did not auto split into events by date. I did a manual split and some of them did, but half when into one new big file and most of the remainder stayed in the original too large event.
If I 'get info' for these pix there's definitely a correct historical date associated with each one (or at least the many I've checked).
Any guidance how to get the auto-event-splitting to work robustly across all my pix will be much appreciated. Thanks,
